For over 30 years Josh has been surrounded by fishing. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, his father was a head fisheries biologist for the State of Washington. After graduating from High School in Olympia, Washington, Josh received an athletic scholarship to play soccer at Gonzaga University. During his four years at Gonzaga, Josh excelled both in the classroom and on the field, receiving All Conference Academic and Athletic awards.
After four years and graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Josh landed his dream job as a professional soccer player. While playing in 2017 Josh put a team together and launched a company in the fly fishing industry that you know today as Spawn Fly Fish.
With a foundation built on the same roots as his soccer experience, Josh knew he could lead a team, company, and community to success. Today you will find Josh continuing his relentless determination to bring Spawn Fly Fish to the front and center of this industry.
